It can be a great deal of fun being a host and offering your home to students.
If you are interested in hosting simply get in touch with us. We will then come and meet you at your home and asses how many children you can host and ensure the facilities you have are suitable. Once approved we have a full calendar of activity the whole year around. It’s up to you when you host and how many times a year you want to do it.
A hosting group is normally for three or four nights. You could have two, three or more children depending on the accommodation you have available. Once the children arrive, you will meet them at a central point, which is normally a Tesco or Asda car park. You then take them home and help them settle in for their short but fulfilling stay. As well as sleeping at your home, you will need to provide the children with breakfast and supper. Both of these meals are given as a part of the overall family routine and the children are expecting to eat with your family to learn from that experience. You will also need to provide a packed lunch for the children as they leave early in the morning catching the coach for their day’s activities at around 8 am and not returning to you until around 7 pm. So you have the whole day to run your normal life, with the children fitting in with the activities of you family.
